THE Lingayen National High School bagged first place in the music video contest among secondary schools region-wide last July 11 in La Union in observance of the World Population Day.

Kim Paras, Population Program Officer IV of Dagupan City, said LNHS and the other winners were chosen for presenting the best video about “Kalikasan, Kalusugan, Kababaihan”.

Meanwhile, a press conference called by the Population Commission discussed this year’s theme “Babaenihan: Investing in Teenage Girls” to call attention to the increasing number of teenage pregnancy in the country. (Yvonne David, OJT)
