Lee is new Pangasinan Police OIC

THE Pangasinan Police Provincial Office has a new officer-in-charge, the 9th appointee over a 7-year period!

P/Sr. Superintendent Ronald Oliver Lee succeeds P/Sr. Superintendent Edgar Alan O. Okubo, who was Acting Provincial Director of Pangasinan for over six months from January 7 to June 30, 2016.

Lee, member of PMA Tanglaw Diwa class of 1992, assumed the post during a simple turnover ceremony held at the Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) last Monday, July 4.

Okubo relinquished the command to Lee in compliance with the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) reshuffling program.

Lee was cited as one of the Country’s Outstanding Police Officers in Service (COPS) in 2008.

P/Chief Superintendent Erickson Velasquez, Police Refional Office 1 Director said the reshuffling of police directors is being done nationwide for the purpose of improving on implementation of law enforcement programs attuned to the priorities of President Rodrigo Duterte.

The turnover ceremony was presided by Senior Reynaldo G. Biay, the then Deputy Regional Director for Operations (DRDO) and now the PRO1’s Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA). (Leonardo Micua)
