Dagupan’s De Guzman is PICPA’s ‘Outstanding chapter president’
FOR her noteworthy accomplishments as president of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) – Pangasinan Chapter, Dagupan City Budget Officer Luz F. De Guzman received the prestigious outstanding Chapter President Award from the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
The occasion was during the 2016 PICPA Induction, Turnover and Awarding Ceremonies on July 7 at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.
Outgoing national PICPA president Dominador A. Barrion presented the award to De Guzman whose accomplishments have “significantly contributed to the dynamic advancement of PICPA and the professional growth and development of its members through its creative, consistent and unified efforts to work for the fulfillment of PICPA’s 2015-2016 theme “Sharing Success Beyond Borders”.
De Guzman was recommended by the Committee on Geographical Areas, Regions, Chapters and Affiliates of PICPA to be one of the outstanding chapter presidents.
For her feat, Mayor Belen T. Fernandez happily lionized De Guzman being a true achiever “who works beyond borders.”
De Guzman thanked Mayor Fernandez for her support since day one of her presidency. (JCB/CIO)
