Two prov’l hospitals to receive new facilities

LINGAYEN— Two public hospitals in the province are set to receive additional medical equipment.

Last Monday, the provincial board approved provincial resolution no. 2049-2016 authorizing the Governor Amado Espino Jr. to enter into and sign memoranda of agreement (MOA) with HIMEX Corporation and United Diagnostic Supply (UDS) for the provision of hospital facilities and equipment under public-private partnering scheme for the provincial government hospitals of Pangasinan.

HIMEX Corp. offered the Urdaneta District Hospital the service of one brand new unit Hitachi CT Scan Machine- 16 slices SUPRA model under a profit sharing scheme for five years.

Meanwhile, the UDS will provide the Mapandan Community Hospital with one unit glucometer machine and one unit Mindray BS 120 chemistry analyzer, each under a two-year contract. (Johanne Macob)
