Team Perry rules Corporate Cup bowlfest

TEAM Perry firmed up its hold of the overall lead after the fifth and final day of competitions to rule the Corporate Cup Bowling Tournament held on June 21 at CSI Bowling Lanes in Tapuac, Dagupan City.

Led by veteran bowlers Perry Fernandez, Romy Tabayoyong and Rowena Fernandez and beefed up by Luis and Matthew Barredo siblings plus Gerick Sarito, the Dagupeno keglers combined a total of 15763 pinfalls after 100 games to pocket the P15,000 top prize.

The Commission on Audit (COA) led by its key players Larry Fermin, Jess Ferrer and Shirley de Guzman, leaped from sixth to second place with 15422 pinfalls to bag P10,000 while the National Grid Corporation of Philippines (NGCP) of Marlon Calimlim, Don Gadon and Maribeth Begosa dropped to third from second with 15311 drops to earn P7,000.

Erstwhile third placer The Rotarians plunged to fourth with 15263 while Bowlero occupied fifth from fourth with 15072. Team Thursday finished sixth from fifth with 15045 and TEAMBA remained its cellar position and last with 14165.
