Prov’l board endorses KALSADA program
LINGAYEN— The members of the provincial board expressed their support for the inclusion of the Konkreto at Ayos na Lansangan at Daan Tungo sa Pangkalahatang Kaunlaran (KALSADA) program in the 2017 national budget.
The KALSADA program, a program of the national government that provides assistance to provinces for funding of their local roads, is a performance-based downloading of fund program which will be distributed to provincial local government units for the rehabilitation, improvement, and upgrading of provincial roads.
The Provincial Road Network Development Plan (PRNDP) for 2016-2018 of the province of Pangasinan has been approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in order to serve as a development guide for more specific local road network plans of the province. (Johanne R. Macob)
