MALASIQUI—Some 30,000 pupils in the town’s elementary schools and day care centers again received free school bags that contained school supplies from the municipal government.

More than 130,000 ballpens, 130,000 pencils and 130,000 notebooks are part of the school supplies distributed.

The town has 52 elementary schools and 73 day care centers.

This annual project was first initiated by Mayor Armando Domantay Sr. since his first term as the mayor of the town in 2007, now on his last term.

Mr. Domantay, who was reelected in the last election as the vice mayor of the town, said he hopes the next administration of Mayor Noel Geslani will continue the project. (Hilda Austria)
