107 jobseekers hired at Dagupan job fair
INDEPENDENCE Day proved to be a lucky day for 107 job applicants who went to the “Kalayaan 2016: Pagkakaisa, Pag-aambagan, Pagsulong” job fair at Nepo Mall in Dagupan City last June 12.
Eighteen local companies and four international companies participated in the day-long job fair that offered 8,108 job vacancies.
The one-stop-shop services of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Phil Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Social Security System (SSS), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Philippine Overseas Employers Administration POEA and Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) served 1,139 jobseekers and employees regarding their employment concerns.
The job fair is one of the many job fairs conducted by Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office No. 1 in conjunction with the 118th Independence Day. (Nora Susara_OJT)
