3rd PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

EXCEPT for some supporters who fainted, preparations for the presidential debate that drew some 15,000 to University of Pangasinan-PHINMA on April 24 paid off, and the debate proceeded without any hitch.

This was the happy assessment of P/Supt. Christopher Abrahano and said no candidate was delayed in arriving at the debate venue.

The candidates’ supporters who were positioned beside each other along Arellano St. kept their ranks under control even as they tried to outdo each loud cheering and chanting the names of their candidates as they arrived at the venue one after the other.

Police’s strong presence in the area helped avert any clash between supporters, Abrahano said. (Tita Roces)
