LINGAYEN—Another Bayambang beauty titleholder, 23-year-old Riza Diego, won the talent portion of the search for Limgas na Pangasinan 2016.

Diego bested the 22 other candidates in the ‘Best in Talent’ competition during the Talent Night held at the Sison Auditorium in the evening of April 25, 2016.

Earlier, Danielle Joie Magno, another titleholder from Bayambang town, walked away with the “Darling of the Press.”

Diego performed a dramatic monologue that won the nod of the judges: Engr. Rusty Peralta, Agnes Santiago, Engr. Cris Bautista Jr., Noel Sibayan, and Dr. Ruben Borja II.

Diego acted as an insane person suffering from the effects of corruption and greed.

“My act was about an untold story of women who don’t have power, who are being used, who are being misused and abused by those greedy with power or money,” she said.

During the Talent Night, the ladies also showcased their festival costumes derived from their respective towns’ products and festivals.

The winner in the Best in Festival Costume will be announced and awarded on the Pageant Night on April 30 at the Capitol Plaza.

The winning costume will be displayed at the Bengson-Yuson Ancestral House, and eventually at the Provincial Museum once the restoration of the Casa Real is completed

Other 21 candidates are Kristal Joy Larrobis (Manaoag), Kathlyn Joy Manangan (San Quintin), Hannah Quezon (Bugallon), Diana Rose Untalan (Sta. Barbara), Joane Ancheta (Aguilar), Lovely Lamptey (Rosales), Ma.
