THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Pangasinan will hold a skills and entrepreneurial training for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Infanta town on April 25 to 27 to help entrepreneurs upgrade their skills in food processing.

Peter Mangabat, provincial director of DTI-Pangasinan, said the training aims to continuously provide support services to MSMEs in the town and improve their skills on food processing and good manufacturing practices as well as proper packaging and labeling of products.

“DTI has chosen Infanta because it has been a recipient of machines and equipment under the Shared Service Facility (SSF) program for their meat processing project,” Mangabat said.

SSF Project for LGU Infanta amounted to at least P768, 340 that directly and indirectly benefited 150 meat vendors in the town. (EMS_ PIA Pangasinan)
