BAYAMBANG—Former Fifth District Rep. Mark Cojuangco said a survey result published in The PUNCH last week showing both Board Member Amado Espino III and Gov. Amado Espino Jr. in their bids for governor and congress, respectively as frontrunners in an electoral race is self-serving.

CARTOONnews-160417He said he also has his surveys conducted every two months to help him determine how he is doing in his campaign for his gubernatorial bid. “The result is good but you don’t hear me bragging about it,” he said.

“That’s for my internal guidelines,” he added.

He said he and his vice gubernatorial tandem, Calasiao Mayor Mark Roy Macanlalay, are frontrunners across Pangasinan by substantial lead in their own surveys.

Cojuangco said the final survey will be the election day itself.

“I am confident that we will win,” he said.

“So let them have their fun because from the start, that’s what they have been doing,” Cojuangco said.

He said his opponent is known as “psywar specialist”.

He told newsmen that he believes “this psychological warfare strategy is propaganda, mind conditioning”.

“But they will not prevail because people want change and are already fed up with the more of the same,” he added.—Tita Roces

(Editor’s Reaction: The survey results were submitted to The PUNCH by Data Advisor, a polling company. It was given the prominence after Mr. Art Valenzuela, Data Advisor’s president, explained the methodology and process to us).
