Anne Curtis concert to benefit The Haven

BILLED as a “total entertainment with a heart,” the Annekapal: The Forbidden Concert Round 2,” concert of Filipino-Australian multimedia artist, Anne Curtis, which will be held today March 12, 2016, 8p.m. at the CSI Stadia, will benefit different charitable organizations like The Haven.

The Haven, located in Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City and being managed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), shelters and helps women who are victims of different kinds of abuse.

During the media and bloggers conference last March 5, 2016 held at The Loft-Dagupan on Curtis’ event organizers disclosed that prior the concert, an outreach program will be conducted at The Haven on March 8.

Ram Mollenido, creative head of the South Farm Entertainment Inc., the concert’s producer, said Curtis is really into helping women and children through her work.

During the concert, a book signing for Curtis’ “Ann-ita: The Duckling Diva” will be held. Revenues from the sale of the book will benefit the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

‘Annekapal’ concert is the second of the concert series following the success of ‘Annebisyosa’ produced by Viva Live Productions which has been held in Quezon City, Cebu, Bacolod, and Davao.

Special guests include Daryl Ong, Ella Cruz and G Force Angels. (Johanne R. Macob)
