Businessman shot to death
LINGAYEN— A 60-year-old businessman in Urdaneta City was shot to death at about 1 p.m. of February 13, 2016.
The victim identified as Teofilo Malapitan was shot by still unidentified suspects on board a motorcycle.
Malapitan was rushed to the Urdaneta City District Hospital for medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Police investigation revealed that the victim survived a shooting incident last Dec. 23 in Brgy. Linsamangan, Binalonan.
Motive for said shooting was revenge, police said. Manhunt operation is on-going. (Johanne Macob)
