Three caught in shabu session

CELEBRATING BY SNIFFING

THREE persons were arrested by a patrol unit of the Dagupan City Police Station (DCPS) in the middle of a shabu sniffing session, 11:30 a.m. of December 24 on Arellano St. in Barangay Pantal.

Arrested were Joel Tamayo, 46, owner of the house where the session was being held; Jovit Mara, 24; and Randy Feir Carbonel, 35.

All were caught in sniffing shabu inside Tamayo’s house.

Seized from them were three sealed sachets containing shabu, four pieces of opened sachets still containing shabu residue, three pieces of aluminum foil strip, nine pieces of aluminum improvised tooter and one stainless pair of scissors.

The police said they received a report from an unidentified citizen that several persons were holding a shabu-sniffing session at the house of Tamayo.

The responding unit caught the suspects sitting around a table sniffing shabu.

The suspects were read their rights and the nature of their offense.

The suspects were brought to the Region I Medical Center for medico-legal examination before being detained at the police station.

A case for Violation of Article II, Sec 11, Sec 13, and Sec 15 of the Republic Act 9165 has been filed in court against the suspects. (Leonardo Micua)
