PANGASINAN, ELECTION HOTSPOT?

LINGAYEN—The new officer-in-charge (OIC) at the Pangasinan Provincial Police Office as acting-police director, is expected to appear before the Sangguniang Panlalawigan next week to explain why Pangasinan is listed as “hotspot” during the 2016 polls.

The invitation to P/Senior Supt. Edgar Allan Okubo’s to appear before the provincial board “to brief us on the efforts and plans of the new PD as to how we can have a free, honest and clean elections in Pangasinan” was recommended by Sixth District Board Member Alfonso Bince Jr.

He said Pangasinan is listed number one in the list of hot spot in the forthcoming elections. “This is embarrassing,” Mr. Bince said.
