SINGLE ENTRY APPROACH

THE Department of Labor and Employment-Regional Office 1 helped five pharmacy workers get their money claims through the Single Entry Approach (SENA).

The terminated workers filed their Request for Assistance (RFA) with the DOLE-Alaminos Field Office (AFO) on December 15 for the payment of their wages and 13th month pay, and they received P32,287.80 total settlement through the assistance of SENA Desk Officer Rhodora Dingle the following day.

Last year, the DOLE-AFO facilitated the settlement of 25 labor disputes benefitting 45 workers with P660,697.83.

The SENA is a 30-day mandatory conciliation-mediation of all labor issues to prevent them from ripening into full-blown labor cases. (DOLE)
