3 arrested for violating gun ban

THREE men were arrested separately for violating the election gun ban and Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act last weekend.

On January 16, the Tayug Police Station implemented a search warrant in the residence of Napoleon Robeniol, 47 years old, in Barangay Lawak that resulted in the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of one caliber 38 and four pieces of live ammunition for caliber 38.

In Umingan, Wilfredo Brillo, 31 years old, resident of Barangay Poblacion East was arrested after a fragmentation hand grenade was discovered in his possession when he was accosted by the police for creating disturbance in the barangay.

On January 17, Ernie Camaso, 47 years old, resident of Barangay Roxas in Anda was arrested after authorities caught him playing with two bullets during a drinking session with companions initially. During the body search, two more 12-gauge bullets were found in his pocket.
