Warehouse employee shot dead
LINGAYEN— An employee of a private warehouse here was shot dead at around 7 p.m. of November 19 by a suspect onboard a motorcycle.
Police report said the victim, Mario Manaois, an employee of CSI Warehouse Lingayen, was shot by still unidentified gunman onboard a motorcycle along Singit Bridge, Barangay Baay, Lingayen.
Initial investigation showed the victim was on his way home, also driving a motorcycle, traversing south direction when he was shot once at the back of his neck.
He was rushed at the Jesus Nazarene General Hospital for medical attention but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Manaois, 38 years old, married, was a resident of Brgy. Calit, Binmaley.
Meanwhile, the suspect allegedly sped off towards Brgy Quibaol, Lingayen.
Recovered from the crime scene was one fired cartridge of caliber 9MM pistol which was submitted for ballistic/cross matching examination in the crime laboratory. (Johanne Macob)
