Two drug pushers arrested on All Saints’ Day
POZORRUBIO—Two drug personalities in the town’s top priority list were arrested last Sunday, November 1.
P/Sr. Inspector Ryan Manongdo, chief of the Pozorrubio Police Station, identified the two suspects as Junalyn “Joy” Artiende, native of Ramon Magsaysay Zamboanga del Sur currently residing in Barangay Alipangpang Pozorrubio and Mario “Arnel” De Guzman, resident of barangay Bantugan Pozorrubio in separate buy- bust operations.
The two are members of Totsie Group, a known group of illegal drug dealers in the town.
“They are just a small- time pushers and their leader Totsie was already arrested,” said Manongdo.
A total of seven sachets of shabu were confiscated from the two suspects. The suspects are now detained in the station and a case of violation of section 5 and section 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) was filed against them. (Hilda Austria)
