BUGALLON— A cycling race dubbed “Pogi Pangasinan Cycling Challenge” is the newest activity to be featured in the celebration of this town’s fiesta this month.

The cycling challenge will be held on the fifth day of the weeklong celebration on November 29 after the street dancing and civic parade.

The race will start and end in front of the municipal hall and will be supervised by Jesus Garcia, former national cycling champion and PUNCH sports editor.

Mayor Jumel Anthony Espino said the activity is expected to drum up support to reinforce unity for “One Bugallon.”

Last year, the town launched dragon boat race amplified the observance of the town fiesta.

The festivity will be concluded with performances from the band Parokya ni Edgar on Nov. 30 to be held in the town’s open field. (Johanne Macob)
