CITIZEN’S ARREST

URDANETA CITY— While other barangay officials in Pangasinan conveniently keep their Barangay Anti Drugs Abuse Council inactive to allow drug syndicates to operate freely in their communities, the barangay officials of this city are showing the way, and are making a difference.

Recently, Urdaneta Barangay Chairman Arsenio Lapena Elegado Sr. of Barangay Mabanogbog arrested two suspected drug pushers in his barangay on separate occasions on November 1 and 2.

CARTOONnews-151108Elegado caught and arrested Cesar Boado, 22, a resident of Barangay Mabanogbog in the act of selling one sachet of Shabu on November 1.

On November 2, Elegado arrested Noel Maramba, 20 a resident of barangay Mabanogbog with one sachet of Shabu in his possession.
