GSP Pangasinan Council hails Espino’s support

LINGAYEN – Chief executives, commissioners and officers of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Pangasinan Council expressed gratitude to Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. for his administration’s support to the scouting movement citing the the construction of “the only GSP headquarters in the country that is built by a local government.”

GSP Pangasinan Council President Perla Cornel, in a courtesy call last September 29, also informed Gov. Espino that Pangasinan maintains its status as “a consistent top-producer of chief girls scout medallists” and among the active and best-performing GSP councils of the country.

Elated over the positive developments of the scouting movement in the province, the governor, granted GSP council’s request for the construction of a two-storey extension building of their headquarters and will be included in the annual investment plan of the province next year. (PIO)
