Acuna tops agribusiness dissertation

TWENTY-two years old Eric Minore Acuña won first place among the five finalists in Luzon in a competition among some 150 participants in the 2015 Youth Entrepreneurship Development Workshop held Oct. 17 to 19 at Hotel Pontifino Residencia in Batangas sponsored by the U.S. Embassy.

The daughter of former Third District Rep. Eric G. Acuña and the former Rosalie Minore submitted the winning dissertation in that seminar entitled “Social Entrepreneurship Business–Tuloy sa Tao“.

Her dissertation centered on agribusiness on how to grow bigger and better plants to increase the incomes of farmers, supporting the vision of the Asosasyon ng Organikong Magsasaka founded by her father Eric, a gentleman farmer.    

Erica is a law graduate of the University of the Philippines, College of Law in Manila. She graduated from UP Baguio with the degree in B.S. Mass Communication. (Leonardo Micua)
