TH Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) intensified its consumer education services by holding seminars in schools to educate the youth of their rights and responsibilities as clients.

The DTI in Pangasinan recently conducted a consumer awareness seminar for students of Lyceum-Northwestern University (LNU) here to make them more well-informed, vigilant and protected buyers.

Provincial Director Peter Mangabat of DTI-Pangasinan said the seminar is part of the agency’s “Ramdam Ka Ba Ni Juan” program for everyone to feel the presence of the DTI’s services.

Among those discussed were the Consumer Act, “No Return, No Exchange” policy, warranties, How to Handle your Own Complaints, and consumer rights and responsibilities,” he said. (VHS/AMM/PIA-1, Pangasinan)
