MANGALDAN– The Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO) held a Special Membership Day for the families of the overseas Filipinos workers in this town last week to encourage them to affiliate with the association in order to facilitate delivery of services intended for them.

PESO Manager Alex Ferrer said the event, part of the “Bantay Barangay, Tulong-Hanapbuhay” program, enjoins wider participation of the families in anti-drug, illegal recruitment and human trafficking campaign of the provincial government.

Discount on membership fee was provided during the event where jobs and livelihood fair was also held.  One-stop shop services of government agencies like the Social Security System, PAGIBIG, and PhilHealth were also made available.

The activity was a convergence project with the Mangaldan LGU and OFW Returnees and their Dependents Organization (MORADO), in support to the I Love Pangasinan Movement. (Johanne Macob)
