Five ‘Wanted Persons” arrested

LINGAYEN—The Pangasinan police arrested five wanted persons in different towns and cities in the province with warrants of arrest on the same day last September 21.

At 8:50 a.m., the Calasiao Police Station arrested, Oliver Gabat 35 years old, resident of Barangay San Miguel by virtue of a warrant of arrest (WOA) issued by Judge Genoveva Coching Maramba of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 44 in Dagupan City for violation of republic act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act.

At 9:30 a.m., the Tayug Police Station arrested Marcelo Valencia, 28 years old and resident of Barangay Trenchera Tayug by virtue of a WOA issued by Presiding Judge Emma Ines Parajas of RTC Branch 51 Tayug for the crime of frustrated homicide.

At about the same time, the Sta. Barbara Police Station arrested the 4th top wanted person in the town, Jimmy Caldona, 34 years old, resident of Barangay Maningding, Sta. Barbara by virtue of WOA issued by Judge Genoveva Coching Maramba of RTC Branch 44 Dagupan City for frustrated murder.

At 12:05 p.m., the Mangatarem Police Station arrested Raymundo Cruz, 60 years old, resident of Barangay Ponglo Baleg Mangatarem by virtue of a WOA issued by Acting presiding judge Crisma Vismanos Nabua of Municipal Trial Court First Judicial Region for the crime of direct assault upon a person in authority.

The detectives of the Crime Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested Randy Grapiza, resident of Pagal San Carlos City by virtue of WOA issued by Judge Renato Pinlac of RTC Branch 57 for violation of the Local Government Code of 1991.

On September 22, the Dasol police station arrested Rustico Muega, 69 years old, civil engineer by profession and resident of Barangay Eguia Dasol by virtue of WOA issued by Judge Edna Lou Ibe Pulmano of First Municipal Circuit Trial Court Burgos-Mabini- Dasol for the crime of concubinage.
