Magic Malls sign up for ‘No Bio, No Boto’ campaign
THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Pangasinan has also partnered with the Magic Group of Companies for the biometrics registration of voters.
Jojo Dela Fuente, corporate marketing and business development manager at Magic Group of Companies, said satellite registration and validation of voters will be conducted on August 27 and 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the following areas: Magiclub in Guilig Street, Dagupan City; Magic Mall in Urdaneta City; Magic Mall Tayug; Magic Pozorrubio and Magic Binmaley.
Lawyer Marino Salas, provincial election supervisor, said that as of August 2015, some 104,000 Pangasinan voters have not validated their records, thus hitting malls for voter registration or validation is one of their agency’s ways to reach out to them.
The deadline for validation is until October 31, 2015. (AMM/PIA-Pangasinan)
