‘Linog’ member arrested in Sta. Barbara
A MEMBER of the notorious ‘Linog’ Drug Group and his female companion were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Sta Barbara, at 1:30 p.m. of August 24.
The operation was effected by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (Team Alpha) Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group and the Sta. Barbara Police.
Arrested was Clark Kent Liabres, alias Daboy/Jerick, 18, of Barangay Bonuan
Binloc, Dagupan City, said to be a member of Linog Drug Group and Roxanne Gumabob, 18, of Barangay Aroo, Sual.
Another suspect, Mitto Liabres, alias Pipoy, managed to evade the arresting officers.
Confiscated from them were four small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu; the P500 bill marked money.
The suspects are now under the custody of PDEA Team Alpha in Dagupan City for
proper disposition and documentation. A case for violation of Sec. 5, 11 and 12 of Art. II of RA 9165. (Leonardo Micua)
