Top drug personality in Sta. Barbara nabbed
STA. BARBARA— The campaign against illegal drugs in this town scored well last week.
The number one drug personality here was arrested last Monday night by operatives of the Sta. Barbara Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency police in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cablong here.
Nabbed was Ali Siapno Villanueva, 35, resident of said place, after he handed over to an undercover police officer who posed as a buyer one plastic sachet containing shabu in exchange for four P100 bills marked money.
Upon his arrest, the operatives made a search on Villanueva and seized from him three more plastic sachets, assorted drug paraphernalia and 10 pieces of live ammunition of caliber 9 mm. (Tita Roces)
