DAVAO CITY-born Romeo Camingao triumphed anew in Pangasinan cycling by conquering the Sto. Tomas Criterium Race in the 36 year-old-and-above category held on June 7 in Sto. Tomas town.

The dusky international skilled rider outdistanced hometown kid and national duathlete team member Robeno Javier and Umingan son Jesus Garcia to clinch the P3,000 top prize with his four teammates Joel Balucos, Resty Aragon, Jerry Aquino Sr. and Richard Labine landing fourth, fifth, seventh and ninth, respectively. Tenth placer achieved by Oscar Espiritu of San Manuel, Pangasinan.

The bikefest is a short one-hour road battle plus two rounds of the eight-kilometer course with Excellent Noodles as one of the sponsors. (JAG Jr.)
