LINGAYEN – Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. urged athletes of Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) who were in Pangasinan for the first in-house training for Palarong Pambansa sponsored by the provincial government, to “show discipline and leave lasting good impression for the region during your stay in Tagum City.”

These were the parting words of the governor to the 491 R1AA athletes, trainer-coaches and delegation officials during their send-off program for Palarong Pambansa 2015 last April 21 at Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC) Gym.

Mag-iwan kayo sa Tagum City ng mga magagandang masasabi sa inyo ng mga tao doon dahil kayo ay may disiplina at iginalang nyo ang kanilang tradisyon at kultura,” Mr. Espino said.

Early morning of April 22, R1AA delegation left Lingayen onboard six provincial buses provided by the provincial government and the Department of Education Regional Office for the national games on May 3-9. (PIO)
