DAGUPAN CITY– The province of Pangasinan through the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) local chapter here joined the rest of the world in celebrating the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day on May 8, 2015.

According to Florame Magalong, PRC-Pangasinan chapter administrator, the celebration in the province was marked by the blessing of the whole PRC-Pangasinan building, the turnover of two deliveries from Guanzon and the partners’ commendation program.

This year, top awardees for their humanitarian commitment were the San Roque Power Corporation, University of Pangasinan, AMA Computer College, University of Luzon, Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (Platinum Award); Provincial Government of Pangasinan, Schools Division of Pangasinan II, City Schools Division of San Carlos, CSI Group of Companies, City Government of Dagupan, City Government of Urdaneta (Diamond Award); City Schools Division of Dagupan, ZOTA Trading and Construction, Star Plaza Hotel, Guanzon Group of Companies, Speaker Eugenio Perez National High School, Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital (Gold Award).
