Meet Pangasinan’s Cleanest, Greenest and Safest towns

LINGAYEN – After being cited as the “Cleanest, Safest, and Greenest” province in Region I, the provincial government honored the Cleanest, Greenest and Safest towns and cities during Pista’y Dayat’s commemorative and awarding ceremonies held at the Bañaga Bridge on May 1.

Winners were chosen for four categories.

In Category A (1st to 3rd class municipalities), Villasis was the champion while Mangaldan was 1strunner-up and Tayug, 2nd runner-up.

In Category B (4th and 5th class municipalities), champion was Sta. Maria town, followed by Balungao and Natividad as 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.

In Category C (component cities), Urdaneta City won as the search champ while Alaminos City was 1st runner-up slot and San Carlos City, 2nd runner-up.

In Category D (barangays), Barangay Arnedo in Bolinao grabbed the top spot while Brgy. Nancalobasaan, Urdaneta was 1st runner-up, and Brgy. David, Mangaldan was 2rd runner-up.
