LINGAYEN – After being cited as the “Cleanest, Safest, and Greenest” province in Region I, the provincial government honored the Cleanest, Greenest and Safest towns and cities during Pista’y Dayat’s commemorative and awarding ceremonies held at the Bañaga Bridge on May 1.

Winners were chosen for four categories.

In Category A (1^st to 3^rd class municipalities), Villasis was the champion while Mangaldan was 1^strunner-up and Tayug, 2^nd runner-up.

In Category B (4^th and 5^th class municipalities), champion was Sta. Maria town, followed by Balungao and Natividad as 1^st and 2^nd runners-up respectively.

In Category C (component cities), Urdaneta City won as the search champ while Alaminos City was 1^st runner-up slot and San Carlos City, 2^nd runner-up.

In Category D (barangays), Barangay Arnedo in Bolinao grabbed the top spot while Brgy. Nancalobasaan, Urdaneta was 1^st runner-up, and Brgy. David, Mangaldan was 2^rd runner-up.
