BAE PACING’S 100TH BIRTHDAY – Hundreds of friends and relatives of Paciencia “Bae Pacing” Erfe Verzosa arrived in San Fabian to celebrate her 100th birthday last May 1. The celebration began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at the San Fabian Parish Church and culminated in a sumptuous buffet lunch at the Leisure Coast in Dagupan City prepared by her children, Ely, Lea, Noel, Oscar and Lope. Archbishop Socrates Villegas, through Rev. Fr. Oliver Mendoza, presented to her the Papal Blessing in print.  Lola Pacing also received a formal acknowledgment of her birthday 100 years ago from the town’s civil registrar. (Photo by Roni Lo)
