Five stabbing victims survive

LINGAYEN—Five persons were injured in separate stabbing incidents on March 28 and 29.

Levy Clave, 56, widower, farmer was stabbed by a suspect identified as Amadito Orlanda in Barangay Tori-tori, Anda town due to an old grudge. Clave was rushed to Sampaloc Community Hospital in Bolinao town for incised wound in his head. The suspect fled.

Fernando Pascual, 53, married was stabbed by suspect Ricardo Villanueva, 49, both from Purok 1, Barangay Carmen East, Rosales town. The victim sustained stab wound in his chest and incised wound on his upper lip and nose and was immediately rushed to Del Carmen Hospital in Barangay Carmen East, Rosales.

In Barangay Puelay, Villasis town, Clifford Dela Cruz sustained stab wound on the left side of his body while Jesus Dela Cruz was injured on his right side body and left lower thigh when they were stabbed by suspect named Juanito Agno, 49, lotto bet collector. The incident was provoked allegedly over an argument over a pet dog. They were rushed to Ordonez Medical Hospital of the said town for treatment but later transferred to Dr. Marcelo Chan Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment.

Archie Cervas, 30, married, an overseas Filipino worker and resident of Barangay Morales Nilombot, Mapandan town was stabbed by still unidentified male suspect/s and was rushed to Mapandan Community hospital for treatment. The incident happened during a brawl.—Tita Roces
