TESDA, DepEd hold vegetable cook-off contest in Pangasinan

VILLASIS– The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) held the “Oh my gulay!” cook-off contest here to encourage children to eat healthy snacks that are made from vegetables.

TESDA Secretary Joel Villanueva said the contest also intends to showcase the culinary expertise of cookery course graduates in creating cheap and healthy snack recipes using vegetable as a main ingredient.

“In partnership with the Department of Education (DepED), the contest was conceptualized as we want our young people to ‘glow, grow and go’,” he said during the KBP Forum Special Edition on March 12. (PIA)
