POZORRUBIO—The town’s most notorious suspected illegal drug peddler was finally arrested Tuesday by the local police and elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 1 and seized from him sachets of shabu, gun and ammunition.

Police chief Insp. Ryan Manongdo said Marlon Estaris, 39, married, painter and a resident of  Barangay Palguyod, was nabbed based on arrest and search warrants served to him in his residence.

Confiscated from him were three heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu, different shabu paraphernalia, one caliber .38 loaded with four live ammunition, three cal .38 live ammunition and five cal .45 live ammunition.

A coin purse that contained a sachet of shabu also fell from the possession of one Jonathan Cervantes, 38, married, furniture worker, when he and Estaris tried to run and evade arrest. (Tita Roces)
