THE Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP)-Pangasinan chapter, in cooperation with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), recently organized a blood donation drive dubbed “Brodkaster ka na, Life Saver ka pa” at the Nepo Mall Dagupan.

Now on its second year, the project promoted voluntary blood donation to provide sufficient source of safe blood and to inculcate public awareness that blood donation is a humanitarian act, and show that a broadcaster is not only a reporter and service provider on air but can also take a lead role in saving lives by donating blood.

KBP-Pangasinan chapter chairman Emmanuel Sibayan thanked the donors that enabled the PRC to collect 33 bags of blood. (PIA Pangasinan)
