US-based medical team holds mission in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN – The Medical Mission of Mercy – United States of America (MMOM-USA), in partnership with the provincial government of Pangasinan, conducted surgical and dental missions from January 26-30, 2015 at the Urdaneta District Hospital

A satellite team of MMOM-USA also visited the following towns – Rosales on January 28, Malasiqui on January 29 and Laoac on January 30 – to bring dental services and offer minor surgeries for residents.

Thousands of Pangasinenses availed of free medical, dental, optometric /ophthalmologic and surgical services from medical specialists, surgeons, dentists and nurses of MMOM-USA,

Dr. Joseph Arzadon, MMOM-USA president thanked Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. and the Provincial Health Office for the support and coordination they provided the medical team and commended the present provincial administration for giving priority attention to health care services in the province. He described the UDH, a provincial government-owned and managed hospital, as among the ‘best hospitals’ his team had visited. (PIO)
