SEAOIL-NBTC ELITE LEAGUE

LYCEUM-Northwestern University FQD Special Science High School (LNU-FQD) will face Gerona Junior College in a knockout championship game for the coveted crown of the 2014-2015 Seaoil-NBTC (National Basketball Training Center) Elite League, North Luzon-Central Luzon Area, today, February 22, at 1:30 p.m., DWAD Gym.

The two teams gained entry into the titular showdown after they vanquished their rivals in crossover semi-final games in their respective regions, last month. The Gerona-based team competed in the Central Luzon regional eliminations conducted in Tarlac City while FQD topped the North Luzon regional tournament in Dagupan City.

Elite League city commissioner Edilberto R. Abalos said the winner of the titular showdown will join area champions from all over the country and compete in the league’s national championships, in Manila in March. (Philamer C. Celi)
