HRIT claim another victim, a day care teacher
UMINGAN—A day care teacher was shot dead by two unidentified hitmen riding-in-tandem on Wednesday (Feb. 5) in Barangay San Andres here.
Killed was Jerwin Nogal, 21, day care teacher in Barangay Concepcion here who succumbed to two gunshot wounds from a caliber .45 handgun.
He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival, Police Officer 3 Jim Valdrez, officer-in-charge police chief said.
The police recovered one empty shell and one slug at the crime scene.
Nogal was riding a tricycle with his grandmother and another lady companion to visit his mother who is confined in a hospital when the suspects shot him.
The other passengers were unhurt.
Motive for the killing is yet to be established, Valdrez said. – (Tita Roces)
