APSCU holds seminar on K-12, senior hi program
SOME 300 private school owners and administrators participated in the regional seminar organized by the Association of Private Schools Colleges and Universities (APSCU) Region 1 recently on DepEd’s K-12 and the Senior High School Program.
Dubbed “APSCU R1: Preppin’ for K-12 Educational Reforms and Initiatives”, the event was jointly organized APSCU Region 1, headed by Dr. Aurora Samson-Reyna (University of Luzon) and the Metro Dagupan Chapter led by Rex R. Lor (La Salette School).
Among the speakers were Dr. Isagani R. Cruz, PhD, former DepEd Undersecretary for Education and Curriculum Adviser of the K-12 Steering Committee, Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, president of the Philippine Association for Teacher Education, and Dr. Marina Abella, the Regional Coordinator for the Fund Assistance for Private Education.
