Wanted: More entrepreneurs for Pasalubong Center

LINGAYEN– The Pasalubong Center at the Capitol Complex needs more entrepreneurs.

Provincial tourism officer Malu Elduayan urged local entrepreneurs to produce small creative handicrafts to fill the growing demand for souvenir items, particularly with “I love Pangasinan” message.

The small and medium enterprises (SMEs) at the center are selling mainly food products, i.e., Calasiao’s puto, other native cakes and Lingayen’s bagoong (fish sauce), among others. The center also accepts consigned products.

Inaugurated last Sept. 26, the Pasalubong Center which also serves as the Capitol Tourist Assistance Center is open everyday including weekends from 8a.m. to 5p.m. (Johanne Macob)
