LINGAYEN – Provincial Agriculture Office OIC Dolly Moya has written to all mayors to require their market supervisors, quarantine officers and market administrators to demand “auxiliary invoice” or clearance for domestic fish movement from transporters or dealers of fish and seashells to ensure that the commodities are safe from paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP).

Banned are shellfishes, shrimp and crabs that are gathered or harvested from the seawaters of Bolinao, Anda, Bani towns and Alaminos City and at the coastal waters of Milagros in Masbate, and from some areas in Bataan to include Mariveles, Limay, Orion, Pilar, Balanga, Orani, Abucay, and Samal.
