Grain traders told to renew NFA license

THE National Food Authority (NFA) in western Pangasinan is now accepting applications for renewal of business license of grains businessmen for the year 2015.

The agency requires all grains businessmen to secure license to be able to engage in buying and selling of grains.

Traders without the necessary permit from the agency will be penalized in accordance with the NFA’s rules and regulations. And those who fail to renew their licenses as scheduled will pay 25 percent surcharge for the first month, 50 percent for the next month and 100 percent surcharge for the third month and onwards.
