Deadline for foreigners’ registration, March 1

THE Bureau of Immigration-Pangasinan office announced that immigrants and non-immigrants are required to report to the Bureau starting January 5 to March 1 to have their stay in the Philippine soil monitored by the government.

Immigrants are permanent residents by marriage and mostly are former Filipinos who acquired new citizenships but chose to stay in Pangasinan while non-immigrants include students, missionaries and pre-arranged employees.

Foreigners who fail to register by March 1 will have to pay penalties.

All undocumented and overstaying aliens have until September 2015 to report otherwise they will be arrested and deported. (VHS/PIA-1, Pangasinan)
