CALASIAO– The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) satellite office located at the second floor of Robinsons Place Mall in Calasiao, Pangasinan will start operating January, next year.

Board member Ranjit Shahani, chairman of the provincial board Committee on Foreign Relation and author of provincial resolution no. 317-2013 that endorsed the creation of a DFA consular office in the province, said the office will be opened once the biorhythmic machines arrive.

Under a public-private partnership scheme, Robinsons Place provides the office to DFA free of charge.

DFA-Pangasinan will issue new passports; renew expired passports; replace lost, expired or mutilated passports; and provide authentication of necessary documents.
The DFA office in Pangasinan will be named Narciso Rueca Ramos Hall. (Johanne Macob)
