Capitol gets P76.7M supplemental budget

LINGAYEN—After the P2.77-billion annual budget for the year 2015 was approved, the sangguniang panlalawigan enacted the province’s P76.7-million supplemental budget last week.

Authored by Board Member Clemente Arboleda, the board adopted appropriation ordinance no. 4-2014, “an ordinance enacting supplemental budget no. 3 of the general fund for the operation of the provincial government of Pangasinan…” specifically, P76,705,000 investment requirement of the supplemental investment program submitted by the provincial government.

The supplemental budget will be sourced from the P19-million income from amusement tax, real property tax, hospital fees, and miscellaneous income; P12,263,000, reversion of current appropriation from the hospitals; P32,996,800, reversion of current appropriation from all other offices; P615,000, savings on MOOE; P360,000, savings on capital outlay; P7,388,940.59, counterpart for PhilHealth premiums; P3.1-million, unappropriated surplus; and P981,259.41, revision of continuing appropriations from consultancy services, and sports activities, and scholar fund.
