CAPITOL EMPLOYEE SLAY

LINGAYEN–Gov. Amado Espino Jr. ordered the PNP provincial command to identify and immediately arrest the persons behind the slaying of an employee of the Provincial Treasurer’s Office who was gunned down Nov. 4 by hitmen riding in tandem in front of her home in Lingayen on November 4 after coming from work.

The governor gave the order as he expressed his deep sorrow over the death of Judith Santillan, supervising administrative officer of the Provincial Treasurer’s Office, who succumbed to cardio-pulmonary arrest last November 17.

“One of our most hardworking senior employees, Ms. Santillan, battled for her life for about two weeks in the hospital after she was shot by two men riding in tandem on Nov. 4, ” said Espino in a press statement released by the Provincial Information Office.

“Again, we condemn in strongest terms this act of violence inflicted upon one helpless employee of the provincial government,” Espino said.

The Special investigation Task Group (SITG) Santillan was formed by P/Senior Supt. Reynaldo Biay, officer-in-charge of the Pangasinan Police, to track down Santillan’s killers. (LVM)
